Three pages of six now complete. What is scary is the bottom half is full of those scattered stitches!
Thanks for visiting my blog! This is where I'm going to post pics of my stitching. Enjoy your stay! Work From Stash and One BAP for 2009, Week Nine
Well, my plans were to start on the floral alphabet (A design by Permin of Copenhagen, published in the April 2009 issue of Just Cross Stitch's latest issue), but I misread the fabric size and, after completing the first letter, realized that I would only be able to fit in four of the six rows of the sampler on the 18 ct Aida fabric I was using! AAACK! So, online to order a larger cut of ivory (32 ct linen this time) and I will come up with some use for this letter "M"!
In the meantime, while I wait for the linen to arrive, I started on "Spirit of the Sockeye" from The Stitching Studio (based on artwork by Blaine Billman) and that is truly black 28ct Jobelin that I am stitching on. It seems my flash makes even black linen transparent to the pattern on the bedspread under it!
