Just backstitching to go! This picture shows one of the six colors of backstitch in place.

There is this shop sign which is on a separate piece that attached over the door, and I'm not sure how to proceed there. I don't think linen will hold up so I may try 14-ct plastic canvas...

Over 2/3 complete (not counting backstitch, of which there is quite a bit, in six or seven colors!)

This challenge to work from stash is half over! I'm relatively happy with the progress I have made but I could be doing better if I wasn't blowing off half a week of stitching, like this past week.

It's "Needlework Shoppe", a chart designed by Jorja Hernandez for the Kooler Design Studio and published by JanLynn in their Just-a-Chart series.

I started stitching on this back in February of 2006, this is how it looked in February of 2008 when I last stitched on it. It's on 28ct DMC Linen using DMC floss, two over two.
