That's because I did some ornament stitching from the 2009 "Just Cross Stitch" Christmas Ornament Issue. The photo is a bit blurry but it is "Purple Penguin" from Casey Buonaugurio Designs, stitched on 32-count "pewter" linen in DMC floss: 
I plan on doing more ornaments from this issue... after I finish "snow"! Oh, and I ripped out more sashing on my raw applique "study". My conscience got the better of me --- I can't leave it THAT wonky!
