It's part one of a two part piece, and is called Moghul Spires ornament. As usual, I shopped my stash for threads and used all DMC this time: 550, 552, 553, 554 and for the hanger, 169.The second part of the October installment is called Daffodil and I've kitted it up, but it sill take a little longer, I think, since it's a little more complex.

ReplyDeleteSure is purple! Funny --- I NEVER do purple and so far, two of the pieces have come out strongly on the side of purple! For some reason (maybe because I never do purple do you think?), I have more purple thread than anything else!
