WIP myself into shape, Week 14 - a day early
but what with house guests last night, volunteering for NPR's fund raising this AM and tomorrow AM and going to a family funeral this weekend, I know I won't be stitching on this at all this week ...
--- or the next three weeks! Switching over to traveling needlepoint!

ReplyDeleteJust the bottom panel to go --- and it's mainly fixing up hay bales! Two colors and some scattered stitches for a pair of horses pulling a wagon...
ReplyDeleteI put the piece on the floor (it is carpeted in white so there is little, if any, color change due to background) and shoot from above with a flash (if it's beaded, I TRY to find natural light but in this NW Ohio weather, that is rare, to say the least - like it's raining today, AGAIN!). Then I crop and "adjust" for contrast and definition in iPhoto...
ReplyDeleteThe bottom panel of the hay harvest needs work --- at least two colors of hay and several scattered stitched for horses, a wagon, etc.
